Awesome, Just Awesome

Today's song: Has Been by William Shatner and Ben Folds

Actor, author, director, producer, celebrity spokesman, singer, and all around great guy.  The man has skills.  By now you all know that William Shatner is the most awesome man alive.  Whether he is saving the galaxy by beating up Malcolm McDowell or shooting a hobo, nobody saves the day like Shatner.

None of you have been living in a third world country and if you are on the net you are not Amish, so you all know who William Shatner is.  You have most likely seen him act.  You have probably seen him saving people money on Priceline.  And if you have been in my car, you have heard Shatner's 2004 album Has Been.

I have written about Shatner Before.  I have written about Has Been, one of the best received albums of 2004.  I wasn't sure how to approach this post.  Then it struck me, i don't always have to cover new ground.  I have seen Wrath of Kahn thirty or forty times now.  It does not get old.  If something is good enough it bears repeated viewings.  So it seems to me that it is perfectly appropriate to extol the virtues of William Shatner once again.  Shatner is no less awesome than the last time i mentioned how awesome he was.

The only new thing i have to say about William Shatner is that he is the best thing about Sh!t My Dad Says.  I know this isn't saying much.  The writing is substandard and the lead actor is not very good.  But the show has potential.  I'll ride out the first season and see if season two is worth sticking around for.  If you find yourself with a little spare time, rewatch Community or Boondocks.  If you still have some spare time try Sh!t my Dad Says.  If the show improves i'll let you know.
