Now if this is not the first time you have seen Demetri Martin, you can stop here. You already know he is funny and this is not an isolated incidence of hilarity. If you are unfamiliar with Mr. Martin's work read on.
Being named Martin in the comedy business is tough. Sharing a surname with one of the greats isn't easy just ask Charlie Murphy. To my knowledge he is unrelated to Steve. The wikipedia tells us, "Demetri Martin (born May 25, 1973) is an American comedian, actor, artist, musician, writer and humorist. Martin is best known for his work as a standup comedian, contributor on The Daily Show and for his Comedy Central show Important Things with Demetri Martin."
I can forgive him for the Daily Show. I've seen him on it, he's good. Just because you work for evil people, doing evil things, producing evil products doesn't necessarily make you evil. Important Things with Demetri Martin is very entertaining. A little sketch comedy, some stand up, plenty of paraprosdokians. It got picked up for a second season so give it a try.
